About Seregram
The human hearts behind your custom melodies.
Seregram was born from a simple belief: your most meaningful life chapters deserve to be heard. We craft personalized songs that bridge the gap between deep human storytelling and musical curation, ensuring that your most profound emotions find their perfect, permanent expression.
Where Seregram Began
Long before playlists and streaming, there was the singing telegram.
In 1933, Western Union executive George P. Oslin wanted to change the way people experienced telegrams, which had become closely associated with urgent or unwelcome news. When a birthday message arrived for singer Rudy Vallée, Oslin asked operator Lucille Lipps to sing the greeting over the telephone instead of simply reading it. That simple idea became the first singing telegram: a personal message transformed into music and delivered especially for the person receiving it.
What made the singing telegram memorable was never just the singing. It was the idea that an ordinary message could become an experience—more personal, more emotional, and harder to forget.
Seregram's Inspiration
Nearly a century later, Seregram carries that idea forward.
We begin with the same essential ingredients: a person, a story, and something worth saying. Instead of placing a message inside a familiar melody, Seregram transforms that story into an original song created specifically for the people and moments behind it.
The technology has changed. The possibilities have grown. But the purpose remains remarkably similar: to take something deeply personal, give it music, and turn it into a memory someone can keep.
A Song for the Ages
Seregram's own story began in a DJ booth. Years spent soundtracking weddings, anniversaries, and milestone celebrations revealed something that never changed from one event to the next: every meaningful moment has a story, and music can reach places words alone cannot.
That is the space Seregram was created to fill—not with a song that merely fits the occasion, but with a song that becomes part of it.
